After settling in Anaheim Hills in the 1990s, Harry entered public service. He served on the City Budget Commission, then as a City Councilmember from 2004–2012. In 2018, he was elected Mayor of Anaheim. As mayor, he led initiatives to address homelessness, boost employment, and support small businesses—particularly those in underserved communities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he oversaw over $70 million in relief efforts and ensured broad access to testing and vaccines. Harry Sidhu’s life embodies resilience, hard work, and a deep belief in the American Dream. Today, he continues to stay connected to the community he helped shape.
